Michel Redde et Fils is a well respected producer whose wine growing family dates back to 1630, when François Redde grew wines in Pouilly-sur-Loire. Michel took over in the 1950s and incorporated a tasting cellar called “La Moynerie” after the monks who used to be the main producers of wine in France. Michel expanded the property considerably, to the 85 acres it is today, before passing the estate onto his son, Thierry, in 1977. Thierry and his sons are now the 13th and 14th generations of winemakers in the family. All this experience has led to a reputation for consistent quality and excellence in the Redde brand that is second to none in the area.
