Before they took over the family estate, Laurence and Jean-François Rière planned to grow flowers. They already had horticulture in their blood, and the delicate elegance of flowers probably influenced their approach to wine. Guillem Cadène, on the other hand, spent time travelling the continent of Africa before training in Burgundy, and then returning to his roots in the Roussillon. Thus, two experienced farmers joined forces with another who offered a new and fresh approach. The result: wines of great richness and complexity.
