Domaine Manoir du Carra

The wines from Manoir du Carra are far from your cheap and cheerful house plonk often associated with the region. Opting to make wines of depth and elegance that are loyal to their terroir, it is clear from their range that each region of Beaujolais has a very distinct personality. Although all the wines drink incredibly well young, the Cru wines will also age very gracefully.

Critical acclaim is widespread. Indeed, in a review of over 300 Beaujolais for The Wine Advocate, the 2015 Moulin-à-Vent Les Burdelines received a score of 93 points. With 90+ points on all wines tasted in the review by Antonio Galloni at, it is clear that we have a producer sitting at the forefront of quality in the region.
