Known as Tenuta Oliveto until a few years ago, this newly rebranded winery recently purchased by Swede Per Landin is already creating Brunelli of great character and attracting some worthy attention. With vineyards in the southernmost reaches of Montalcino not far from the large lava dome of Mount Amiata, and a brand new state of the art winery, we expect this estate to go from strength to strength.
“Welcome to the Brunello deep end! Very ripe red fruit nose with floral touches that balance the serious, dry tannins. The finish is very long and rather delicate.” - 94 Points, James Suckling on the Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2012.
