Chateau Penin

Chateau Penin

The property is family owned since 1854 and it was not until 1964 was the production solely destined for winemaking purposes. That year, Hubert Carteyron started exploring the full potential of the wine industry and focused all its efforts into making great quality,Bordeaux wine. Later on, his son Patrick, a fifth generation winemaker, joined him and together they're working on the, currently, 40 hectars vineyard area and export almost half of their production to Europe, the U.S. and Asia.
